KiD GRiD CooPeRaTiVe/Booth Rules

This is a seasonal family-friendly event open to rp kids, their families, and friends from all across the SL grid.  There's no set theme other than "family" and "friendly." So things like matching outfits, furniture, poses, accessories, gestures, toys... anything that would be great for families!

There is no entry free. All booths are reserved for 3 months at a time (one booth per person), and limited to 40 prims each.

Booths must be renewed for each 3-month period or else they will be considered abandoned and offered to someone else. Of course, we will attempt to contact you and give you time to reclaim your spot.

It is expected that you update your booth every 3-months, switching out at least one seasonal exclusive item each time (e.g. Spring, Summer, Halloween, and Winter Holidays). We will give you an optional theme idea for each season.

Notice rights will be granted to KiD GRiD CooPeRaTiVe sponsors in both the Next Gen Inc. and KiD GRiD groups. You're allowed two notices per week, but not within the same 24-hour period. If you're aiming to reach people who are online, use chat instead of notices.

If you agree to these expectations and would like to be part of the CooPeRaTiVe or any of our other sponsorships, please apply for approval by using this form: [Become a Sponsor] and send to Kiptin.

We reserve the right to deny or remove sponsor rights from any person, event, or location that does not adhere to this agreement and/or diverges from the [Core Values] of NGI and KiD GRiD.

We look forward to your participation in this event. Please contact us with any questions, suggestions or concerns.

Merchants Covenant

Merchants Covenant

Welcome to Teen Grid.

All buildings are rented by invite-only or through becoming an approved sponor by submitting the [Become a Sponsor Form].  If not already a member, join the KiD GRiD group and Kiptin will assign you the rez rights role. This will allow you to rez your items on Teen Grid. If your alts or business partners also need rez rights, please have them join the KiD GRiD group, and then send a notecard to Kiptin with their names.

Please send a full-perm logo texture to Kiptin so we can use it for signage around the region and for advertising your business. You may also request notice rights for both the KiD GRiD and Next Gen Inc. groups to promote your products, events, or services.

All structures are rented "as is" meaning that the storefront or building you rent is the building you get. Only one rental per person, group, event, or store name. This is to ensure we have space for everyone who would like to have a presence on Teen Grid. We may allow exceptions to this rule (e.g. providing two or more totally different services). We also ask that your store is not left empty for more than 2 months out of the year, and please have at least 5 products for sale. Let's give people a reason to visit Teen Grid and keep coming back.

Your rent can be paid using the CasperLet rental system in the Teen Grid rental office located here:

There is also a meter hidden under your space. Once your rent has expired beyond 3 days, your store is considered abandoned and will be available to someone else. You may resume your rent BEFORE the end of the 3rd day of being overdue if you include the missed days in your payment (adjusted automatically).  Anyone can pay your rent, including alts, business partners, friends, family, etc. It is your responsibility to make sure your rent is paid far enough in advance to cover times when you can't be in world, or have someone pay your rent for you. If you anticipate any problem paying your rent, please contact Kiptin.

Please do not build or leave prims in the sky or in the streets, and please watch your prim limit. We reserve the right to return your items to keep you in compliance with this agreement. Continual abuse of your prim allowance could lead to your eviction. Contact Kiptin if you would like to request an adjustment to your prim allowance.

Please do not rez items that might obstruct or interfere with other merchants or visitors to the region (e.g. items that block the sidewalk, visible hover text through neighboring walls, looping sound effects, greeters, security devices, etc). We reserve the right to return such items without warning.

This is a family-friendly role play region; any inappropriate items could be returned to you without warning. Respectful behavior and appropriate attire is expected by everyone on Teen Grid in accordance with Linden Lab's Maturity Ratings:

If you have any issues with security (e.g. trolling, griefing, or harassment by others) on Teen Grid or in our groups, your options are to contact Kiptin, use NGI or KiD GRiD group chat to request help from staff, and file a report with Linden Lab directly through your viewer (usually found under HELP > REPORT ABUSE).

If your account has been banned or blocked by Linden Lab, or believed by us to be otherwise compromised, we will remove your rez rights and notice rights, and we will return all your items from Teen Grid for the safety of our residents, visitors, and merchants. When possible, we will attempt to contact you first.

The region for Teen Grid has daily scheduled restarts to help maintain region performance.  We will send a 10-minute warning in both the KiD GRiD and Next Gen Inc groups, in addition to the normal 2-minute warning to those still on the region. Teen Grid is usually back online within 10-minutes after a restart.

Thank you for your cooperation. Feel free to contact us with your questions. And... Welcome to the neighborhood!! :D

Region Manager: Kippy Numbers (kiptin)

NOTE: KiD GRiD notice rights are given to all, but not automatically. If you do not already have notice rights, please contact Kiptin to grant them to you and/or your business alts and partners. NGI notice rights are given to all of our merchants. We will give these rights to you within 48-hours of you paying your first week's rent. You may also contact Kiptin to grant them to you and/or your business alts and partners. To avoid the appearance of spam where group members might turn off notices completely, please send no more than 2 store notices and/or public chat announcements per week to each group. You also have the option to promote your store and products on KiD GRiD RADiO by sending Kiptin your audio links (using dropbox, etc).

KiD GRiD - NOTICE RIGHTS

We approve notice rights to all people and projects that are in harmony with the KiD GRiD vision, mission, and [Core Values].

"Announce kid events, products, hangouts, parks, games, stores, schools, communities, family roleplay, etc. General PG conversation welcome. Share info, ask questions, make friends. Clothing-required events for all ages, both boys & girls. Respect group members. Use viewer and group options as needed to limit or turn off chat and notifications."

Please keep notices to two per week, and never within the same day or 24-hour period. If you're aiming to reach people who are online, use chat instead.

DJ sets: Notice rights are granted only to previously-approved KiD GRiD sponsored clubs and DJs. To see what it takes to get KiD GRiD approved, please refer to this form: [Get KiD GRiD Approved] We ask that approved clubs and DJs post a weekly schedule or a morning notice (as long as it's no more than twice per week), and then feel free to use chat during your event.

Teachers: We ask that schools or teachers post a weekly schedule and then use chat to announce classes and school events.

For everyone, PLEASE use CHAT ONLY when announcing an event that's just about to start or currently happening. Too many notices can get overwhelming and appear as spam, leading people to ignore and turn off notices completely.
Please contact us to request notice rights, but check first to see if they haven't already been granted to you. ;)

We reserve the right to deny or remove notice rights from any person, event, or location that does not adhere to these rules and/or diverges from the KiD GRiD [Core Values].
